what is the most romantic place to go on for a honeymoon? not the typical cliche of paris. something exotic?
im getting married in the august-november time span and i want me and my husband to go somewhere, where its not a "typical" romantic spot. ive been looking at cruises but i dont really know. i know that if we takke a cruise it will most likely be on the royal carribean cruise lines, because theres more things to do outdoors such as rock climbing etc...help?
My very best friend got married just a few months ago. She and her new husband went island hopping in the caribbean they went to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Anguilla, Aruba, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Cancun and Cozumel. They had a very lovely time. I have to admit this wasn't a cruise and they had the lots of fun in the outdoors.

Jamaica, The Carribean
Located within the Caribbean islands, Jamaica is the third largest in size, and one of the largest impersonality. It offers verdant forests, crystal clear waters and stunning rock lines. Most of the major towns' are located along the coast, and Montego Bay and Kingston are two of the most popular for tourists to visit.
While in Jamaica, spend your time outdoors. The temperature is warm, often hot and humid, and you have a plethora of things to do, including climbing the Blue Mountains and bathing in the sun on the serene beaches. Why not take the time out to go pony trekking in the forest, or hike to one of Jamaica's beautiful waterfalls?
Lying in the hurricane belt, Jamaica can be prone to windy weather, and sometimes experiences significant storm damage.
Jamaica, once part of the British Empire, gained independence in 1962. It now is rich with culture, and the cuisine is influenced by the Asians and Syrians that reside here on the island, as well as the Afro – Caribbeans. Now a melting pot of cultures, you can feast on jerk chicken and dumplings, or try your hand at some authentic Syrian offerings. There is something here for everyone, whether your tastes are adventurous or you are used to sticking to what you know.
What are you waiting for? If Jamaica appeals to you this summer, then grab your Travel Insurance, passport and book a flight! You ca flight to Jamaica direct with Virgin Atlantic from the major London airports, and most hubs in the USA.
